What We Believe

God
We believe that there is one true God who reveals Himself in the Scriptures as one God in three persons— Father, Son, and Holy Spirit— the Trinity.

Grace Alone
All people are born in sin.  Without Jesus Christ,  we would be without hope and lost forever. Forgiveness of sin, victory over death, and eternal life are given to us by God’s grace alone, a free gift in Jesus Christ.

Faith Alone
Jesus Christ has saved us by His death on the cross and rising again from the dead. Faith in Jesus, and faith alone, brings salvation and eternal life.

Scripture Alone

The Bible is God’s Word, (both the Old and New Testaments) and is the source which informs the content of our faith.

God's Gifts to Us

 Baptism

A gift given by God to people of all ages which combines God's promises with water. In baptism, we receive forgiveness, eternal life, and are brought into God's family.

 The Lord's Supper
We believe in the Real Presence. In this meal, Jesus is present giving us his true body and blood  under the elements of bread and wine for the forgiveness of sin.
