Mrs. VanDyke-Pre-School

 

I have lived in Milwaukee almost all my life, attending Our Fathers and Martin Luther High. I graduated from Concordia in Seward, Nebraska, and taught for 4 years in Nebraska. While in college, I met my husband Gary, also a Concordia graduate and a present high school math teacher in MPS.

After moving back to Milwaukee and having our daughter Rita, (now 19), I started teaching Pre-School and Kindergarten at Oklahoma Avenue Lutheran and later at Mt. Zion Lutheran. I came to St. Paul's in 2001, teaching 1st grade and working with the yearbook and bell choir. I am now back in the Pre-School, teaching 3 Year Old Kindergarten and 4 Year Old Kindergarten.

Our family includes 3 more children: Joseph (18), Luke (15), Emma (12), a parakeet, and a snake. Life is full with children and home activities, family vacations and time spent at the "up north" cabin my husband is building.
