Barb Heimsoth-2^nd Grade Teacher

 

I graduated from Larkin High School in Elgin, Illinois, where I enjoyed learning and playing sports all year round. Youth Group at our church was also an important part of my life. My parents were both Lutheran School teachers, as are my two sisters. The Lord certainly has blessed me with a wonderful family who I continue to enjoy visiting.

 

I attended Concordia College in Seward, Nebraska, and received my Bachelor of Arts degree in 1980 to be a Lutheran School teacher. While in college, I enjoyed playing Varsity Volleyball and preparing myself to be an Elementary teacher.

 

I received a call to teach at St. Pauls Lutheran School in West Allis, Wisconsin, where I continue to teach today. I have Kindergarten through 4^th Grade and began the 8^th Grade Algebra program. At the present time, I am excited to be teaching 2^nd Grade.

 

In 1984, I married Jerry Heimsoth, who formerly taught at St. Pauls and is loved by everyone. The Lord has blessed us with two children. John, the oldest, graduated from Martin Luther High School in 2004. Kristy has begun attending Martin Luther High School this year.

 

I enjoy spending time with my family, watching sporting events, and scrap booking. I have been truly blessed to have the opportunity of sharing Gods love through my ministry here at St. Pauls. I am sincerely thankful for the church family here at St. Pauls and the love they have shown my family. I pray the Lord will continue to use me in any way He feels.
