I graduated from Concordia-Mequon in 1991 with my B.A. degree in Education. Being a single-parent mom, I was a non-traditional student. My sons are now 28 and 26. My first call in May 1991 was here at St. Pauls in West Allis for a 5th/6th grade class. During my 15 years here, I have taught 4th/5th, 5th, 5th/6th and 6th grade classes. For six years, my class has been part of an Adopted Church Friend ministry here at St. Pauls. Each student was assigned a church member to correspond with during the school year through letters and handmade cards. It has been a wonderful learning experience and brought cheer to others. In addition to my teaching responsibilities, I have organized and operated the Library, arranged Art education programs, and prepared quarterly Honor Roll lists. I have also served on the Grandparents Day and Career Day planning committees and as the faculty representative for PTL. Outside of school, I enjoy tutoring, gardening, baking, reading, spending time with family and friends, and just being home. Through my teaching ministry here at St. Pauls, I have been
blessed through Christian friends, students and families. I am thankful that we share a common faith
and trust in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the one true God. This has given me joy, hope and strength
through lifes trials. |
