The Lutheran Rangers is a Christian centered program for boys in the second to eighth grade . In the Rangers a boy will learn to appreciate the wonders of Gods creation in our outdoor program . He will learn to cooperate with others by both giving and taking of the talents which God has given us . He will learn his limitations and the limitations of others and how to work towards a common goal . It helps him increase his abilities and thus decrease his limitations by finding out he can go farther then he thought.

The Lutheran Rangers was started in March of 1963 by St. Paul's Lutheran Church of West Allis, Wisconsin by a group of men very much interested in the future of our youth. These same men also realized that after our youth group had been formed for our Church, the need was there for all Lutheran Churches to be closely knitted together, and what better way was there to do this than to have a National Youth Group. A National Council was then set-up to provide for other churches to use this youth program.
