CONFIRMATION PROGRAM

St. Pauls offers a program for those adults who would like to become a member of St. Pauls. An adult who wants to become a member and is a member of another Lutheran church may be brought in without taking formal instruction by transfers or reaffirmation of faith. Those adults who have been inactive or members of other churches other than Lutheran will need to meet with the pastoral staff or a representative to determine what classes they will need, to become a member. Often, small classes are set up with individuals to meet 6 to 8 times. Upon completion of the classes the pastors will set up the date and time when the Adult Confirmation will take place.

Students in 6th 8th grade in our school have a religion class each day to prepare them for confirmation at the end of their 8th grade year. A special program is set up with the students, and the pastors teach the class during the students 8th grade year. Confirmation is held on the 3rd Sunday in May.

Students who are in 6th through 8th grade but do not attend St. Pauls Lutheran School have their confirmation class on Sunday mornings between worship services. At the end of the 8th grade year, these 8th graders are confirmed with the other 8th graders from St. Pauls Lutheran School.
