CONFIRMATION PROGRAM

St. Pauls offers a program for those adults who would like to become a member of St. Pauls. An adult who wants to become a member and is a member of another Lutheran church may be brought in without taking formal instruction by transfers or reaffirmation of faith. Those adults who have been inactive or members of other churches other than Lutheran will need to meet with the pastoral staff or a representative to determine what classes they will need, to become a member. Often, small classes are set up with individuals to meet 6 to 8 times. Upon completion of the classes the pastors will set up the date and time when the Adult Confirmation will take place.

 

Students in 6^th 8^th grade in our school have a religion class each day to prepare them for confirmation at the end of their 8^th grade year. A special program is set up with the students, and the pastors teach the class during the students 8^th grade year. Confirmation is held on the 3^rd Sunday in May.

 

Students who are in 6^th through 8^th grade but do not attend St. Pauls Lutheran School have their confirmation class on Sunday mornings between worship services. At the end of the 8^th grade year, these 8^th graders are confirmed with the other 8^th graders from St. Pauls Lutheran School.
